C. Jakarta Optimizes PBB-P2 Revenue

Central Jakarta Tax Service Sub-Department held a Week of Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) payment, starting on August 12th – August 19th. The effort aims to boost tax revenue as well as strengthen the coordination and communication with taxpayer.

Head of Central Jakarta Tax Service Sub- Department, Sarasi T. Tampubolon acknowledged this is the strategic event to gain citizen participant to pay tax.

The event is also in accordance with bylaw No.16/2011 on Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax and Jakarta Gubernatorial Regulation No.81/2009 on coordination of collecting tax in capital.

City Keeps Boosting PBB Revenue

“ Taxpayer is City Administration special partner in performing development and evaluation material related to service development ,” he uttered, Wednesday (8/12).

Through this event, hopefully the revenue target in 2015 amounted Rp 1.06 trillion could be realized as well.

“This activity is purposed to keep the 2015 target revenue of Central Jakarta Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax amounted Rp 1.06 trillion, but instead until July it merely reached Rp 288.2 billion or 27.2 percent. Whereas the revenue was supposedly Rp 618.71 billion or it remains lack of Rp 330.4 billion or 31.2 percent,” he explained.

Therefore, the contribution of taxpayer is highly needed with revenue target over Rp 100 billion.

“We’ve socialized it to taxpayer to fulfill their obligation before 31st August and also coordinate with related unit to carry out tax collection over taxpayer,” he disclosed.
